It is important that you give yourself plenty of time before the big day to start shopping for your dream dress! We suggest to shop for you dress between 12 and 18 months before the wedding date.

There are plenty of trusted and safe spaces to park in and around Pontefract. You can park outside the shop on Ropergate, however this is only for 1 hour so would be unsuitable for a full bridal appointment but perfect for alterations and fitting appointments.

The closest car park to us is Newgate South Car Park, just a minutes walk from the shop. Alternatively there are car parks for both Morrisons and Tesco just a few minutes walk through the town centre should you choose to stay in Pontefract for a while.

On our rails, we have dresses in all styles, in sizes 8-24. Having said this, we can order dresses in a size 4 to 36! We aim to make every bride feel comfortable and special in our store, no matter their size.

We believe that with a smaller entourage, you get the best out of your experience. Too many opinions can cause the atmosphere to drop and result in the bride being confused and very overwhelmed. We suggest to choose just a couple of guests who will uplift you and celebrate you - after all, it is all about you!

We also think that it is much more special when your wedding guests get to see you for the first time in your wedding dress, as you walk down the aisle.

Regrettably, we must inform you that our wedding dress boutique is not designed to be child-friendly. We understand that it may be challenging at times to be away from your little ones, and we are more than willing to accommodate your situation. However, we kindly request that you have a trusted member of your entourage who can take care of your children during the appointment.

This allows the bride to fully engage in the experience and make the most of her time with us.

We value the importance of creating a focused and immersive atmosphere for our brides. While we appreciate the presence of young bridesmaids or flower girls, we kindly ask that they are on their best behaviour when visiting our store. They are more than welcome to try on dresses and have their measurements taken under the supervision of their parents or guardians.

Most of our gowns are designed with a lot of structure to them, but although it isn't always necessary to wear a bra underneath our wedding dresses, pants are a must!

It would be a good idea to have in mind what shoes you'd like to wear on your big day, and if possible, bring a similar style from home to try on with the dresses - it can make a big difference!

We also suggest that you wear nude coloured underwear, but this isn't a must.

The majority of orders typically require a timeframe of 6 to 9 months to arrive at our store. Upon the arrival of your exquisite gown, our dedicated team will diligently inspect every detail, including size, colour, length, and any necessary alterations, ensuring its impeccable condition. Following this meticulous process, we will carefully steam the gown and conduct a final thorough examination. Subsequently, a member of our team will reach out to you to schedule an appointment for you to visit our store, try on your dress, and take her home.

While the majority of our gowns range between £1,200 and £1,800, we also offer a beautiful collection priced between £300 and £1,000 — perfect for brides looking for style and value!
